Clock Tower (Tsim Shah Tsui)

Hong Kong is one of the two administrative regions of the People’s Republic of China and it is also to be noted here that Hong Kong is one of the largest as well as the most economically advanced cities of East Asia. It has evolved over the years as one of the most sought after tourist destinations and it does not allow its tourists to experience any dull moment for the reason that it is the home to numerous interesting sites, offers fantabulous dining as well as wining opportunities and boasts of a nightlife that is just rocking.
As far as sightseeing in Hong Kong is concerned, a visit to the Clock Tower (Tsim Shah Tsui), which boasts of a height of 45 meters, should be the top most priority of the visitors. It is considered to be one of the landmarks of the city of Hong Kong and to get to this tourist site, you need to be at the southern shore of the Tsim Shah Tsui (urbanized area of Kowloon) or to be specific it could be said that this clock tower is situated in close proximity to the Victoria Harbor (a harbor situated amidst the Hong Kong Island and the Kowloon Peninsula).

This impressive clock tower is built out of granite and red bricks and a lightning rod that measures seven meters has been used to adorn the top of the tower and if you wish, you can avail the wooden staircase that adorns the interiors of the tower to get to the top of the Clock Tower (Tsim Shah Tsui).

Since the year 1990 it has been listed as a declared monument in Hong Kong.

After exploring this site, you can check out the other areas that are located in close proximity to this tower.

Enjoy your trip to Hong Kong.
